The Juventus Youth football League was formed in Exeter in the 1940's to enable local youths to play in organised matches, it is unclear who actually formed the League in those early days or which teams were involved.

Several people have talked about how the League was played on local parks as friendly fixtures and then gradually formed into a structured league for Under 13's.

This grew to include an additional age group for Under 15's.

I took over as secretary in 1992 and have been in the post since and the League has now expanded to include an Under 14 age group.

I hope to have Under 16's in the season 2002/03.

The League is on Saturday mornings with Kick Offs at 10:30 A.M. and provides Football over a wide area of Devon for boys 11 to 16.
